Education and Training

New Jersey plastic surgeon, Larry Weinstein, M.D., F.A.C.S., received surgical training at University Hospital , Newark , New Jersey and Morristown Memorial Hospital (Columbia University) , Morristown , New Jersey . He received specialized training in Oncologic Surgery and Breast Reconstruction at Sloan Kettering Memorial ( Cornell University ) in New York , NY. At the University of Pittsburgh he did award winning research on tissue expansion. He also worked on experimental microsurgical nerve repair. He finished his plastic surgery training at the State University of New York ( Brooklyn, NY).
